The FUTURE is now!! It is our pleasure to invite you to join us on Tuesday, March 2, 1999, for a most SPECIAL FUTURES SEMINAR featuring our incomparable group of friends and the outstanding wines they produce UNDER ONE ROOF at the famous Au Bon Climat/Qupé Winery in the beautiful Santa Maria Valley. We are extremely fortunate not only to have access to their wonderful wines, but to be able to present them to you to taste before making your purchases.

The talented winemakers joining us include JIM CLENDENEN of AU BON CLIMAT & ICI/LA-BAS; BOB LINDQUIST of QUPÉ; and GRAY HARTLEY of HITCHING POST. Also joining us will be ARCHIE MC LAREN, Executive Director of the KCBX Central Coast Wine Classic; Archie will provide pertinent information about the popular Wine Classic scheduled for the second week in July.

The 1997 Vintage on the Central Coast, as well as throughout California, is considered excellent to superior, producing some of this appellation's greatest wines. Here is your opportunity to judge for yourself as we showcase an outstanding selection from our "roof" denizens, including three blockbusters: ABC Nuits Blanches Chardonnay, ABC Rincon & Rosemary's Pinot Noir and Qupé Hillside Estate Syrah. And, yes, all of the wines presented this evening will be available for purchase at very special futures prices! (Release dates are in April and August.) Although it will not be served this evening, the Au Bon Climat 1996 Pinot Noir "Isabelle" also will be available at a special futures price.

The cost for this seminar $29.00 each for the member and the first guest. Additional guest and non-member reservations are $33.00 each. Full payment must accompany your reservation. No tickets are issued; you will be notified if your reservation cannot be accepted. Cancellation deadline for full refunds is February 28. While bread and cheese will be served, we recommend that you have dinner prior to the event. The Marriott's Parkside Restaurant serves Early-Bird Dinners.
