Au Bon Climat 2002 Pinot Noir, Le Bon Climat List $25.00 $19.99 A deep, ruby-colored wine with a full nose and great body. Truly a Burgundian-style wine, it has good acid and tannin structure to complement the beautiful, concentrated fruit flavors on the palate. Carlson 2001 Pinot Noir, Le Bon Climat List $35.00 $29.99 This is an intense, flavorful wine redolent of red fruit with a hint of cedar on the nose. The structure is solid with a long, lingering finish. Carlson 2001 Pinot Noir, Talley Vyd. "The Wedge" List $40.00 $35.00 A rich, flavorful Pinot Noir from one of the best-known vineyards on the Central Coast. Solid structure and firm tannins followed by a long, satisfying finish. Elegant! Rusack 2002 Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara List $18.00 $14.99 Cherry, raspberry, rose petal, nutmeg and vanilla flavors are all present in this wine. Medium-bodied, with a full finish and well-balanced tannins, this is undoubtedly the best value in Pinot Noir you'll find. Au Bon Climat 2002 Pinot Noir, Mt. Carmel Vyd. List $45.00 $39.99 The wine is concentrated, dense and intense. The nose is full of fruit and the color is dark ruby. It is complex on the palate and the flavors stay with you through the long, exciting finish. Au Bon Climat 2002 Pinot Noir, Isabelle $50.00 Aromas and flavors are rich and intense with sweet oak and vanilla overtones. Chocolate and blueberry notes play on the palate and the finish is long and elegant. The solid structure of this wine will provide drinking enjoyment for a decade or more. Au Bon Climat 2002 Pinot Noir, Knox Alexander List $45.00 $39.99 From one of the best blocks in the famed Bien Nacido Vineyard, it exhibits sweet cherry aromas and flavors on the nose and palate with very smooth texture and firm, but soft tannins. This one last offering won't make a lot of sense to those of you who haven't seen the movie, so you will just have to bear with us. If you need something to go with your fast-food hamburger and fries . . . Foxen 2001 Foothills Reserve List $41.00 $37.50 The wine that Parker called the Cheval Blanc of the Central Coast. Aromas and flavors of bright red currant, licorice, cherry, vanilla, chocolaty earth and exotic spice. The soft and plush Merlot meets the firm structure and tannin of the Cabernet Franc followed by a long, lingering aftertaste. Don't settle for taking two aspirins and calling some doctor.
