Cheers! from the Duke of Bourbon

Our friends at the Culinary Institute of America have asked us to pass along the following invitation to join famed wine writer Robert M. Parker, Jr., for a fabulous wine tasting and seminar. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Mr. Parker and have a amazing wine experience.

When you call to reserve, please be sure to tell them that the Duke sent you.

Don't delay! This event will certainly sell out quickly.

THE CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA AT GREYSTONE
PRESENTS
THE THIRD ANNUAL ROBERT M. PARKER, JR. WINE SEMINAR AND TASTING:
GREAT RED BURGUNDIES AND PINOT NOIRS

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone will present the Third Annual Robert M. Parker, Jr. Seminar and Tasting, this year entitled "Great Red Burgundies and Pinot Noirs" at its Napa Valley campus on Thursday, October 26, 2006 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The proceeds from the event benefit the Wine Advocate scholarship program for the CIA's Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies. A dozen red Burgundies and pinot noirs, have been selected by Mr. Parker for the seminar and tasting. The wines will be tasted blind and Mr. Parker will not know the order of the wines.

"Pinot noir is widely considered the most elusive, fascinating, and sensual red grape in the world," says Karen MacNeil, Chairperson of Professional Wine Studies at CIA Greystone. "And, of course, Bob Parker is renowned for his insight, wine knowledge, and incredible palate. Put the two together and you have the makings of a historic tasting that no serious wine lover will want to miss."

Seating is limited and both the 2004 "Syrahs from Around the World" and the 2005 "Grenaches from Around the World" were sold-out events.

Tickets are $500 per person and include a post-event sparkling wine reception at CIA Greystone's Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies.

For more information, or to purchase a ticket via credit card, please contact Reuben Katz at 707.967.2305 or r_katz@culinary.edu. To purchase tickets by check, please make checks out to The Culinary Institute of America and mail to Reuben Katz, CIA Greystone, 2555 Main St., St. Helena, CA 94574.
