Both of the following wines have been selling at the Duke for some time now. Sadly, their producers are retiring from wine production and these are the last of these two wines. Before they are both gone for good, call or come by the store to secure them for the low price of $19.99 per bottle.

Shadow Canyon 2004 Syrah is rated 92+ points by Robert Parker. Parker's comments: "The 2004 Syrah Shadow Canyon Vineyard (a York Mountain site) is a brilliant, still young and primary offering with superb density in addition to layers of flavors. Huge, attractive blueberry and blackberry characteristics interwoven with flower and crushed rock scents emerge from this deep, powerful, focused, pure, seamless Syrah. It should last for 10-15+ years. If you haven't yet gotten on the Shadow Canyon bandwagon, time is running short! " . . . List price $40.00.

Long Vineyards 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon from Pritchard Hill shows many distinctive characteristics as opposed to Cabernets from other areas of Napa. Dark red color, softer tannins, higher acidity and very clear cherry, blackberry and cassis flavors are evident in Bob Long's delicious wine. It is drinkable now, but will age well for many years . . . List price $50.00.
