We are delighted to inform you about and invite you to join us on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley to celebrate the induction of Leon Adams, Andy Beckstoffer, Al Brounstein, Randall Grahm and Zelma Long into the Vintners Hall of Fame.

The exciting event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a reception featuring wines from the inductee classes of 2007, 2008 and 2009. Following a brief induction ceremony and the unveiling of the bronze plaques for the Class of 2009, dinner will be "served" by celebrity chefs in the CIA's Teaching Kitchens. The celebrity chefs will include Congressman Mike Thompson, Todd Humphries (Martini House), Sara Scott (Continuum), Michael Chiarello (Bottega), Christopher Kostow (Meadowood) and Anne Gingrass-Paik (Brix).

The evening continues with the sounds of the Jeffrey Campbell & Megan Slankard Band in the CIA's historic Barrel Room, where the dance floor will be surrounded by desserts and after-dinner wines.

    1."Big, Bold and Beautiful" - David Breitstein and W. Blake Gray will moderate a unique wine tasting seminar featuring historic magnums of Napa Valley wines covering five decades from the California Collection of David and Judy Breitstein. One or two surprise guest vintners will be in attendance.

    2. "Creating Flavor: The Art of Food & Wine Pairing" - Presented by CIA Director of Wine Education Karen MacNeil, and CIA Chef Bill Briwa.
