Many of you attended our "Hot August Night" seminar this past summer and were fortunate enough to taste Orin Swift's outstanding Saldo 2007 Zinfandel and then purchase it.

David leaves no stone unturned to find the best appellations and vineyards to create his elixir. David gets his grapes from Sonoma, Napa, Amador, Mendocino and Contra Costa counties. The vineyards include Monte Rosso, Eagle Point, Rockpile, Bismark, Beatty, Page Nord, Duarte, Solari, Enangehlo, Battuelo's, Tofanelli, Korte, Mable Tiedemann, Frediani, Lewers, Alta Vista, Bald Mountain and others.

The 2008 Saldo is for the ages! It is a full-bodied Zinfandel with mouth-watering ripe fruit. The aromas are vivid and enveloping with loads of blueberry and blackberry liqueur awakening the senses.
