Incredible Jim Clendenen Wine Dinner for Direct Relief

On August 7, 2010, Jim Clendenen will be hosting an incredible charity wine dinner at Rancho La Zaca in Los Olivos (the private ranch of Tom Dittmer). Jim sponsors the entire dinner so that all the proceeds will go to Direct Relief International. Various courses of the dinner will be prepared by the following well-known guest chefs:

Dean Fearing (formerly of the Mansion on Turtle Creek) and now from the Dean Fearing Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, Texas

Robert Del Grande from R.D.G. in Houston, Texas

Kent Rathbun from Abacus in Dallas, Texas

Stephanie Valentine, the host Chef at Rancho La Zaca

DRI provides appropriate ongoing medical assistance to health institutions and projects worldwide which serve the poor and victims of natural and civil disasters without regard to political affiliation, religious belief, ethnic identity or ability to pay. So far, vintners in the Santa Barbara area have raised well over $1,000,000, which leveraged with Direct Relief's unique ability to stretch dollars donated, has furnished over $33 million in medical material aid provided to those in need. A worthwhile effort!
