Barlow Vineyards was founded in 1994 by the father-and-son team of Warren & Barr Smith in the Northern Napa Valley town of Calistoga. They have a 50-acre estate that produces outstanding grapes and delicious wines. Just wait until you try their "more-than-excellent" red wines, including the crowd-pleaser Barrouge, a super-lucious blend packed with layers of flavors - a real DUKE favorite!

Far Niente Winery is located in a most beautiful setting in Oakville, California. Originally founded in 1855, it was meticulously restored after Gil Nickel purchased it in 1979. Unfortunately, our good friend Gil passed away several years ago, but he left behind one of Napa Valley's greatest wine estates. Far Niente is world-famous for producing "excellent" Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, as well as perhaps California's greatest dessert wine, Dolce. Joining us to help showcase these three beauties will be our close friend Mark Pighini, who has been an important part of the Far Niente team for many years.

Neal Family Vineyards is part of the Jack Neal & Son Vineyard Management Company started by Jack Neal in 1968. Jack's son Mark and his team manage over 2000 acres of ultra-premium wine grapes for 60 growers in the Napa Valley, including the vineyards of The Heitz Family. In 1997, Mark started to make wine himself, which led to the building of his own winery on Howell Mountain in the year 2000. We know you will be extremely impressed with the "excellence" of the Neal Cabernet Sauvignons . . . they are among the best in Napa Valley.

Pisoni Estate & Lucia Vineyards could be called "one in the same." Both were founded by Gary Pisoni in the Santa Lucia Highlands just south of Carmel, California. Gary planted his first vineyard in 1982 and, within a few years, was selling his outstanding grapes to several well-known wineries. In 1998, he began making his own wines. Today, it is a true family operation with his son Jeff as winemaker and his son Mark and Mark's wife Quinn running the vineyards and offices. "Excellence" definitely is descriptive of Gary's Pinot Noirs and Syrahs, which are among the highest-rated in America by famed wine critic Robert Parker. It will be a great treat to experience both Gary and his world-class wines.
