"FASCINATING FOURSOME"
Featuring

CONTINUUM ESTATE
JONATA
MARGERUM WINE COMPANY
TRIVIUM

Dear Wine Associates:

We are delighted to invite you to join us on Thursday, April 22, 2010, for our "FASCINATING FOURSOME" wine seminar featuring four of California's truly fascinating wineries, each with a unique and intriguing history. Our four fascinating guests will be CARLO MONDAVI, Western Regional Sales Manager of CONTINUUM ESTATE, MATT DEES, Winemaker of JONATA , DOUG MARGERUM, Owner and Winemaker of MARGERUM WINE COMPANY, and JACK STUART, Co-owner and Winemaker of TRIVIUM.

Continuum Estate was founded by Tim Mondavi and his sister Marcia in 2005 shortly after the sale of the Robert Mondavi Winery. It is located high atop Pritchard Hill in St. Helena, home to some of Napa Valley's finest wineries (Chappellet, Colgin and Bryant Family). Tim's first two wines were the 2005 and 2006 vintages, which were rated 95 and 96 points, respectively, by Robert Parker. The 2007, a great vintage, should score even higher. Here's your opportunity to taste a big-time winner as Tim's son Carlo shares the complete Continuum story.

Jonata is an incredible property in the Santa Ynez Valley owned by Stan Kroenke, who also owns Screaming Eagle winery in Napa Valley. Led by super-talented Winemaker Matt Dees and super consultant Michel Rolland, Jonata is a phenomenal winery. We will be showcasing Jonata's second wines called "The Paring Wines," which are produced from younger vines. They just might be the best second wines of any winery we have ever tasted . . . and all of them are value-priced for today's market. We also will be treated to the Jonata Todos, a blend of at least seven varieties.

Margerum Wine Company, located in the Los Olivos area of Santa Barbara County, is owned by our long-time friend Doug Margerum. He started his winery several years ago after a long career in the restaurant business. He is known for producing delicious, palate-pleasing wines. His Rosé and Riesling are fun and friendly. His most famous wine is M 5, created from five Rhône varieties, and it is always a huge hit at the DUKE. Wine Spectator often rates many of his wines among the best on the California's Central Coast.

Trivium was created in 2005 by three long-time Napa Valley friends - Jack Stuart, The Winemaker, Stu Harrison, The Marketer, and Doug Wight, The Viticulturist. Their one and only wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena, the iconic varietal from that area. Our guest this evening, Jack Stuart, was General Manager/Winemaker of Silverado Vineyards for over 25 years. He is one cool guy who has a very cool story to tell about his very cool wine. We are pleased to be introducing their first-rate 2006 release.
