Some people will do just
about anything for a buck.
No thanks to Bill and Monica, the cigar industry has been taken by storm with some people's idea for their claim to fame.
The latest came across our wire last week. This new line of cigars will sport a woman wearing a beret in a blue dress straddling a cigar. The name that has been given to this cigar, the "bildo," was so distasteful, that the New York Times has refused to accept money for advertising. We agree. And for a mere $12.95 you can purchase this cigar (although not in any tobacco shops we know of).
Next, you have the new Dominican line with such names as "The Big Lewinsky," that sell for a whopping $1.99 each. What we want to know is...who's buying this stuff? Save your money guys. With the market the way it is, you deserve better. Stick with what you're comfortable with, and if you want to try new cigars but don't know which are worth your $12.95 (or $1.99), call your local tobacconist, or even call us!
We recommend not supporting those who collect on other people's miseries.
