Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
I have been smoking cigars for several years. One of my observations of this activity is that there is a close bond and even family like relationships among cigar smokers. In the past several years I have met many people through the internet and even in cigar stores and cigar event like the one I attended today. What a great day! Today I had the opportunity to meet Carlos Fuente, Juan Sosa, Jorge Padron and Barbara Thorson the editor of Metro Cigar News. These people reinforced the great feeling that I have felt in the past several years.

Juan Sosa and Carlos Fuente Jr. recognized me from the many conversations that we had shared in the cigar family "chat room" and bulletin board. The treated me as if I were one of the family. In one word I could describe these gentleman as PASSIONATE! I felt as if I were a celebrity. Enrico Barone, the photographer, began taking pictures. At that time, Carlos handed me an OPUS X. He was generous as well as gracious, as he posed for a photo with me.

Reluctantly I had to go but that evening the topic of conversation was the great day that I had and how nice I was treated by all of these legendary people in the cigar world. The staff at De La Concha really know how to though a party and their store is a classy well stocked store. If I had to give this story a headline I would call it "A great day at De La Concha."
